If you ask any photographer when their busiest photo times are...they will probably say Fall and Spring.
And it may not feel like it right now....but Spring is just around the corner! 🌸
Which means if your family photos mayyyy be also just around the corner. (Helpful little hint: even if you aren't had yours done this year...save this for next year! These tips are always helpful!)
As soon as I started learning my color season and learning more about the colors that make not only myself but also my family look our best, our family photos got a MAJOR upgrade!
If we are going to be honest with ourselves here...finding coordinating outfits for the family is always a little bit of a stressful task. But if we are able to nail down what seasons we are in and look the best in...it'll make it that much easier!
BUT FIRST. WHEN IN DOUBT...
💕 Use your own color palette! If you’re doing all the planning and coordinating you should have the benefit of looking the best 😉. If you know your partner and/or kids palettes use your neutrals and blues as a good universal palette!
💕 Wear what you’re comfortable in. If you don’t normally wear dresses then don't! If you feel safe and like yourself, you won't fixate on what you’re wearing and be more in the moment.
Even if you have taken your family photos this year, save this for the next time you take family photos!
These tips are timeless and will always apply to every single year when taking family photos. And of course, if you have ANY questions, reach out, babe. I am here to help!
